Which of you, having an hundred sheep...

I'm not sure how they convinced the sheep to get up there, but I'm impressed.

Four of our elders were reassigned to reestablish the full-time missionary effort in Sierra Leone. Elders Neilsen, Jones, Hansen and Seaman left on Monday for Accra and a Tuesday morning flight to Freetown.  They will join about 30 other experienced missionaries now serving in Western Africa.  It has been a year and a half since Ebola created a need to evacuate the missionaries from Sierra Leone. There are a lot of wonderful people who are very excited that they are now able to return.  We will miss these four very much.

We couldn't send them away without one last fufu.

Last look  - what an adventure!

The great news is that we got Elder Holman back after several weeks in the United States for some medical treatment.  While he was recovering, he stayed busy at the Call Center at the Missionary Training Center in Provo, so he didn't waste any time.  He looks pretty good considering this picture was taken after a 24 hour flight from the USA, plus a five hour drive to where we crossed paths outside of Praso.  He still had two hours to go before arriving in Dunkwa-On-Offin.  He probably felt like one of those sheep on the roof the the trotro by the time he finally got to his area.

We had zone conferences this week in Yamoransa, Telecom and Praso.

Here is Yamoransa:

When I first married Sister Stevenson, she would eat chicken bones and we had to quickly negotiate an end to that practice.  Now I am surrounded by bone crushers.

Here is Praso:

We stayed overnight with the Hanlons in Praso because I was scheduled to do a baptismal interview in Dunkwa-On-Offin the next day.  The road is actually getting better and better each time we go.

On Saturday, we held Priesthood Leadership Training for the six mission branches in the Central Region.

Preparation Day in Cape Coast

If you look closely, you can see Sister Stevenson's handiwork with the CTR stickers.

DATE NIGHT:  It was a close contest with both of us down to two Rummikub pieces, but in the end, I got it done!

Sunday we attended the Abura Ward's "Missionary Sunday."
