Mission President Seminar 2016

We had a very enjoyable week meeting with the Area Presidency and the other mission presidents in the Africa West Area of the Church.

We stayed at the Royal Senchi Hotel on the banks of the Volta River.  It is a beautiful place.

We ate well and often...

We received powerful instruction from the Area Presidency.

And we had some time to relax.

This is the dam that holds back the largest man-made lake in the world, Volta Lake.

Drum lessons.

It was nice to spend the week with other couples having similar experiences to ours and being able to share ideas.

We ended the seminar on Thursday evening together in the Temple, then returned to Cape Coast on Friday.

Saturday, I was invited to speak at the Stake Priesthood Meeting of the Yamoransa Stake.

The Elders have only been in Greenhill Ward for a week and they are already part of the choir.

Sunday, we attended Sacrament Meeting at the Bakaano Ward.

It was a nice week.

We saw this troop of baboons on the way to Senchi, but the bus didn't slow down enough to get a good picture.
