"I Bless the Rains Down in Africa."

We were in Tarkwa on Sunday and it started to rain.  Sister Stevenson was excited.

Take cover and stay productive.

Baptizing in the rain is also nice.  Two people were baptized after church services.

On the drive home, we also came across other missionaries out in front of the rain.

In Agona Nkwanta

and Mpintsin.  No storm can keep me in!

We continued with our zone conferences this week.  We were with the Telecom Zone in Assin Foso Stake on Tuesday and the Elmina Zone on Thursday.

Sister Stevenson and I met with President Fokuo after zone conference for our monthly meeting.  Those generally begin very deliciously.

We also held Mission Leadership Council this week.

Our agenda this month included:
  • Improving the accuracy of information on the Baptismal Record;
  • Training District Leaders;
  • Exact obedience in maintaining appropriate relationships with members of the opposite sex;
  • Ensuring that all of our converts meet the qualifications for baptism.
We had great discussions on each of these items and anticipate that we will see continuing improvement.

On Saturday, we were in Assin Foso again with Sister Monyei and Sister Onuka.

Their apartment is on the top of a hill overlooking the city.

It is a pretty view...

and they have nice neighbors.

We had dinner on Saturday night with returned missionary Zac Larsen and his younger brother.

Zac is getting married in a couple of weeks and was able to squeeze in this trip.  It was great to see him again and catch up.

Elder and Sister Hanlon were able to join us at the Coconut Grove. It was a nice evening.
