We returned home on Sunday afternoon and discovered that we were without internet access. Even though I am not terribly technical, it soon became apparent that we had a power problem with the router.
The power cord had melted completely through. The Facilities Management Group was able to replace the cord on Monday afternoon, so for 24 hours we remembered life before internet.
Since the blog is really late, here is a quick recap of last week and a few pictures:
We continued our zone conferences with Mpintsin Zone and Tarkwa Zone.
Sister Stevenson and I spent two days at Busua Beach for our annual break. We had a nice time. Great seafood and a lot of relaxing.
I drove down the coast to Axim one morning to release Sister Sumunah, who had returned from her mission in Nigeria. She did great and it was nice to see her again.
This is a picture from 18 months ago when I set her apart for her mission. I forgot to take a return picture.
I did manage to take a picture of the Axim coast while I was there.
Another missionary that I set apart two years ago also returned home this week from Nigeria. I didn't get to release him because his branch is now part of the Takoradi Stake. We saw him at stake conference on Saturday and caught up.
Elder Arthur Young.
We enjoyed the Takoradi Stake Conference this weekend. This was the first conference since the stake was divided about five months ago.
I spoke in all three sessions and Sister Stevenson spoke in the Sunday general session.
We will also have stake conferences for the next two weekends. With five stakes and (soon) two districts in the mission, over 25% of our weekends will now be attending conferences. We love being able to meet with so many of the members.
